Great food, friendly staff, and kitschy theme makes for probably the best Mexican restaurant in Florence & Sumter. We go everytime we're in Florence and it is well worth the wait.

Was amazing place. We enjoy the food is delicious and fresh. The service was soo good too. And the prices are very good not expensive. Visiting from Goose Creek SC.

Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant around. I found myself avoiding the local Mexican restaurant scene, even though it’s my favorite cuisine. My kids work next door and recommended it to me. Our server was super awesome, amazing energy, as well as super knowledgeable about the menu and cuisine in general (a rarity!). I loved loved loved the vegetarian selections!! Well played! The food amazing! #CustomerForLife

They are family-owned and ran so they care about the food, service and overall atmosphere.Very family friendly, music and detailed decor offers a very authentic feel. Quick meals or large groups, Margarita's is a solid go-to! I recommend the chicken quesadilla, steak soft corn tacos, mexican rice and margaritas with Cuevo Gold!

Food was very good. Little on the warm side as for as the A/C was concerned but I was near the door.

The waiter that waited me was on top of his job. He had an superb hospitality. The food was out of this world. The atmosphere is as good as the food and waiters. The always remember you. I think you should visit this place if you want some Mexican food. I had a great experience.

I went here for a quick bite to eat and got the fajita nachos w/ the chips on the side so they didnt get soggy and it was awesome. Will definitely eat there again. Friendly atmosphere, great food, good prices

This place is spectacular , scrumptious food , amazing service , it smells wonderful. The cheese dip is WONDERFUL. Chips nice and hot. I recommend the cheese dip on rice !!! Yummy !! The hostess and waiters are nice !! 😜😎

Decent food, didn't have the huge cocktails..

Typical mediocre Mexican food. Proteins like chicken, shrimp and steak in my fajitas were way overcooked. Hubby's nachos looked like soggy chips with ground mystery meat and white sauce? I mean, really? Service was good, tableside chips were plentiful and hot salsa was great. Certainly nothing to write home about...

Although I am new to Florence, I am not new to Mexican food. Maybe my exposure to authentic Mexican food has me spoiled(Gracias Abuelita!), but I have to say this was by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Dessert was decent, but I would have preferred to wait for it to be freshly made. The three stars are for the salsa, affordable prices, and awesome service! However if you're searching for authentic Mexican cuisine, keep looking!

Chips and salsa includes a normal salsa as well as a hotter version which was VERY good.I ordered the Lunch Carne Asada...it was also VERY good.

I guess maybe they were down a server because ours was super busy. I got my food a good 15 minutes before anyone else. Then, one person's was completely wrong. The food was pretty good but it'll be a while before I try this place again.

There were four of us the check was about $58 the children are all of their food,they loved it the cheese sauce is the best cheese sauce I've had since I moved to South Carolina the food was absolutely amazing. one of the children ordered shrimp and normally we are a little bit skeptical about eating shrimp in certain restaurants but they were absolutely out of this world I must say that everything was so good I am completely impressed and definitely will be coming back

High praise to the staff at Maragrita's! We showed up technically after the closing time by about 10 minutes with a group of 8 people about to split our bill 5 ways for a work christmas dinner. Bad planning on our part but the people working here made no fuss. The staff was professional and courteous, our food came out on time, was cooked to everyone's liking and we did not feel rushed in any way. We didnt see or hear anyone grumbling about us even though we were the last customers in there by a good 45 minutes. No one was glaring at us from around the corner that I could see. Personally, I would have been grouchy about us, but they did a great job of looking pleased to serve us. Fresh chips and salsa were provided at least twice, too! We all left good tips because I'm sure we were a complete nightmare. Thank you to the staff of Margarita's once again for being cool about it!

Wonderful Mexican restaurant. Had lunch here with my family (two adults, two teenagers.) Free chips and salsa were quickly brought out to our table. Service was excellent. Food quality was great. Prices were unbelievably cheap. We ate until we were stuffed, then had fried ice cream for dessert, and the bill came into 26 bucks. Highly recommended if you are driving by on I-95. Convenient to nearby gas stations.

Easy stop off 95 yet removed from the hustle and bustle ofb the interstate.Great lunch prices, all under $7. Lunch served until 3pm.... but you can order anything off the lunch menu after 3pm for $1 more.

We stop here for carry out and it was delicious 😋 I had the vegetarian #3 and my husband had the steak burrito. There was plenty and it was flavorful.The wait time for the food was less than 10 minutes. Several servers check on and gave us water. The bathroom was super clean. I am really impressed with the 15 minutes we spent there. Thank you 🙏

AWESOME staff. Our waitress, and everyone else we interacted with was fantastic, smiling, friendly, and very pleasant. The food itself was okay, something just tasted off. Only thing I can figure is the ground meat was previously frozen? Possibly refrozen from yesterday? It didn't ruin the food, I'm not too picky, but it definitely wasn't as delicious as it could've been! The staff is a solid 5-Star but my dinner unfortunately is the reason for the 3-star review.
